What does multizone mean?
In short, a wine cooler with multi-zone means that you have several temperature zones to choose from. In practical terms, you set one temperature at the top of the wine cooler (the warmest) and another temperature at the bottom of the wine cooler (the coldest). These temperatures will then meet in the middle of the wine cooler, where you will have an average temperature of the two selected temperatures. This means that if you set 18 degrees at the top and 6 degrees at the bottom, you will have a temperature in the middle of the wine cooler of 12 degrees.
It makes sense to have a wine cooler with multi-zone if you have many different wines that need to be enjoyed at different temperatures. For example, you can distinguish between light white wines such as Vinho Verde, which should be enjoyed at around 5–7 degrees, while more fatty and barrel-aged Chardonnays may reach 10–12 degrees. The same applies to sparkling wines, where champagne can typically be enjoyed a few degrees warmer than cava, for example. Similarly, it makes sense to have the slightly heavier red wines such as Amarone and Barolo lying at 16 degrees at the top of a wine refrigerator with multi-zone, while Pinot noir from Bourgogne can easily be lying at 12–14 degrees and thus served slightly chilled.
It is also possible to have wines for long-term storage lying in a wine refrigerator with multi-zone, but note that only a limited part of the wine refrigerator will have the optimal storage temperature (10–14 degrees). If you only need a wine cooler for long-term storage, we recommend a wine cooler with only 1 zone.

Order Confirmation:
As soon as you place your order, we will pre-authorise your card however your card will not be charged. We will then contact our supplier to confirm that the product you have purchased is available for immediate shipment. Once confirmed we will process the payment and your order will be dispatched straight away. If there is any delay such as an item which is on back order, we will void the pre-authorisation and contact you to let you know.
Order Delivery:
Once your order has been placed, assuming it is in stock and available for dispatch, we will charge your card and your order will be dispatched within 5 working days. We’ll send you tracking details by email within 24 hours of your order being dispatched. If you have not received tracking details within 6 working days, please reach out to us via email at info@chilledsolution.com so that we can help.
Where Do we Deliver?
At Chilled Solution we offer free delivery on all of our products over £500 which are shipped to the UK mainland's.
There may be some additional charges for the 'offshore domestic regions' and ‘Scottish Highlands’: Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands and Northern Ireland.

Kerbside Delivery:
Kerbside delivery means the items that you purchased will be delivered to the nearest kerbside at the address specified. Our freight drivers will position their vehicle as close as possible to the delivery address and unload the goods onto a safe and secure kerbside location.
On The Day Of Delivery:
Our courier partner will aim to deliver your items between 9am and 5pm. The driver will also call you prior to arrival.
Please Inform Us About Delivery Obstruction:
It is important to let us know any obstructions or additional instructions that may restrict us delivering to you (for example, tight lanes, restricted access) You can do this by writing in the delivery notes section at checkout or via email sales@chilledsolution.com. On the rare occasion the delivery is unsuccessful due to access issues and Chilled Solution hasn't been made aware of them, additional charges will be incurred.
Damages and Issues:
We ask that you thoroughly inspect all items at the point of delivery for damage or incorrect items. Please take the item out of it's packaging (do not only inspect the packaging). We advise you not to accept delivery of any damaged items. If you discover that an item has been damaged, please send clear photos of the damaged items to info@chilledsolution.com so that we can make this right or open an insurance claim on your behalf.
Signing For the Items:
PLEASE NOTE: It is very important to understand that once the items are signed for we cannot be held responsible for any damaged items. You (the buyer) is required to prove to us the damage was there before delivery, we will not be able to accept any claims for damaged items if you have signed the delivery paperwork.
Regarding Re-delivery:
If there is no one at the delivery address to receive the goods, and if you have not made an agreement that the goods can be placed at the address, the courier will take the goods back and try re-delivery your items at a later date. If you refuse reception in order to have the items delivered at another time without an agreement with Chilled Solution on this, this is also considered a re-delivery. The price for a re-delivery is £100 + VAT.
Cancellations & Refunds:
Any orders cancelled after 48 hours of placing the order may be subject to additional fees. If your order has been dispatched, you (the buyer) will be responsible for any costs associated with returning the item. Any refunds can only be issued to the same payment method which was used to place the order.
Chilled Solution will only accept cancellations as listed bellow:
- If the Buyer cancels after goods have been dispatched, we will levy our costs from the refund. Please note this can be as much as 50% of the product value.
- If the goods have been used and installed by the Buyer or his Agent then the goods will be deemed non-returnable and the order cannot be cancelled.
- Delivery costs will apply for the collection of the appliance, these will be calculated at the time depending on weight and location.
Product Warranty:
Dependent on the Manufacturer you have a 1 to 3 Year Warranty on your products. All warranties must be registered with the manufacturer on their website when you purchase the items.
