Carry In Service

 

2 Person Carry in Service (UK Mainland):

 

At Chilled Solution we offer a 2 person carry in service on some of our products across the UK mainland. The service includes one or two professionals to help carry the appliance safely into a room of your choice.

We have estimated that the average cost for a 2 person delivery service is between £85 - £291 for larger items. The 2 person delivery service is calculated on the size and weight of the products and the area in which it’s being shipped to.

 

 The price is per item carried in:

  • Packaging removed and environmentally disposed of correctly. 
  • Wine Cabinet carried into a room of your choice.
  • Friendly customer service from our carry in team.

Requirements for this service:

  • It must be possible to perform the service by two professionals with a hand truck.
  • Clear access must be provided. (please contact us or wright in the delivery notes to inform us about any obstructions).
  • Only first floor access provided no stairs etc, unless an elevator is provided. (There may be an additional cost for this depending on the situation) 

 

 Note: additional costs may occur depending on the product weight/size and the shipping area outside of United Kingdom Mainland

 

Where Do we Deliver:

 

We offer our 2 man delivery service to the (UK mainland).

However there may be some additional charges for the 'offshore domestic regions' and ‘Scottish Highlands’: Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands and Northern Ireland.

Important Information Before Placing Your Carry in Service Order:

 

Please take the time to look at the product specification before purchasing. This is to make sure the correct carry in service is added for the correct weight/size product you wish to purchase.

Note: It is your responsibility as a customer to make sure your ordering the correct carry in service for the correct product weights and sizes. So please take your time to get this right.

 

How To Add The  2 Person Carry In Service: 

 

Prior to placing your order the ideal situation would be to contact us for the 2 person carry in service. This is to make sure we can definitely offer you with the service.

To do this simply send us a request at info@chilledsolution.com or phone us on 03330507430 with the product you are interested in, including the shipping area you wish for us to deliver to and we’ll giv you a quote. 

The service includes one or two professionals and a hand truck to carry the items into your house or apartment safely.

 

What if the 2-person delivery service has extra costs?

 

The 2-person delivery costs depend on the size/weight of the product, your shipping area, and on which of our 3rd party 2-person delivery carriers is available.

Once your order has been placed we will contact you. If the 2 person delivery requires any additional costs, we will draft and email you an additional pro rata order for the 2-person delivery service to which you will be able to complete in our secure platform.

Note: delivery times may take longer for orders with a 2 person delivery service.

  

 

On The Day Of Delivery:

 

Our courier partner will aim to deliver your items between 8:30am and 6pm Mon - Fri. The delivery driver will also call you prior to arrival. 

 

Please Inform Us About Delivery Obstruction:

 

It is important to let us know any obstructions or additional instructions that may restrict us delivering to you (for example, tight lanes, restricted access, flights of stairs etc) 

You can inform us about any restrictions by writing in the delivery notes section at checkout or via email sales@chilledsolution.com.

On the rare occasion the delivery is unsuccessful due to access issues and Chilled Solution hasn't been made aware of them, additional charges will be incurred.

 

What If We Cannot Offer The 2 Person Service:  

 

If we cannot offer the 2 person carry in service, we will be able to deliver on a kerbside basis upon mutual agreement and depending on your area.

In this case, the additional charge paid for the 2 person delivery service we will be refund to you immediately. Please note: that at this stage, we do not capture your payment.

 

Damages and Issues:

 

We ask that you thoroughly inspect all items at the point of delivery for damage or incorrect items. Please take the item out of it's packaging (do not only inspect the packaging).

If you are not satisfied with your product we advise you not to accept delivery of any damaged or incorrect items. If you discover that an item has been damaged, please send clear photos of the damaged items to info@chilledsolution.com so that we can make this right or open an insurance claim on your behalf.

 

Signing For the Items:

 

PLEASE NOTE: It is very important to understand that once the items are signed for we cannot be held responsible for any damaged items. You (the buyer) is required to prove to us the damage was there before delivery, we will not be able to accept any claims for damaged items if you have signed the delivery paperwork.

 

What happens if I cancel my order?

 

If you cancel your order and the goods are still in our warehouse, then there will be no charge - if you cancel your order when the goods have left our warehouse and collected by our courier, we will deduct the cost of the delivery from the refund. As an indication, the cost of this will vary depending on the size and weight of the unit and will be in the range of £75 to £145+VAT.

We strongly advise you check the dimensions of the product before ordering, please take your time to get this right. The product weights are found on the product page under the specification section in (kg).

Unfortunately, for products that are ordered in especially for this order (custom orders) they cannot be cancelled once the goods have been collected.
