Carry In Service



At Chilled Solution, we offer a premium 2-person carry-in delivery service for many of our large and high-value products across the UK mainland. This service ensures your item is safely carried into your home and placed in the room of your choice.

What’s Included:

  • Delivery by one or two trained professionals

  • Safe handling using a hand truck

  • Wine cabinet or appliance carried to a room of your choice (First Floor Only)

  • Removal and eco-friendly disposal of packaging (if requested)

  • Friendly and professional customer service

 

Note: Charges are per item. Additional costs may apply depending on item size/weight and delivery location.


Delivery Areas

This service is available throughout the UK mainland.

For deliveries to offshore domestic regions or the Scottish Highlands (e.g. Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Northern Ireland), please contact us for a custom quote:


Delivery Requirements

To ensure smooth and successful delivery:

  • Clear and safe access from the delivery vehicle to your chosen room must be available

  • Delivery must be possible by two professionals using a hand truck

  • First-floor delivery only unless a lift is available (please contact us for multi-floor or stair access)

  • Notify us in advance of any restrictions, such as:

    • Narrow or tight entrances

    • Gravel or uneven driveways

    • Stairs or tight stairwells

    • Gated or restricted access

 

Failure to notify us of restrictions may result in failed delivery and additional charges.


How to Book the Carry-In Service

Before placing your order:

  1. Contact us at info@chilledsolution.com or 0333 050 7430

  2. Provide the product name and delivery postcode

  3. We’ll confirm if the service is available and send a custom quote

  4. If extra charges apply, we will issue a secure additional payment link once the order is placed


Delivery Day Information

Our courier partner will aim to deliver between 8:30 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday. The driver will contact you by phone prior to arrival.


If We Cannot Provide This Service

If the 2-person carry-in service is not available for your delivery address, we may offer a kerbside delivery instead, subject to your agreement.

In this case, any fees paid for the carry-in service will be refunded immediately.


Damages & Inspection

Upon delivery:

  • Carefully inspect the item before signing

  • Fully unbox the product and inspect it for damage (do not just check the packaging)

  • Do not accept damaged or incorrect items

  • If damage is found, take clear photos and email us immediately at info@chilledsolution.com

 

Important: Once the item is signed for, we cannot accept liability for damage unless you can demonstrate it occurred before delivery.


Cancellations

  • If the goods are cancelled before dispatch, there is no charge

  • If cancelled after dispatch, the cost of delivery will be deducted from your refund (usually between £75 – £145 + VAT depending on the item)

  • For custom or special-order items, cancellations may not be possible once the goods have been collected
